2007 Patriot Award
On October 27, 2007, the Redwood Chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union awarded County Clerk and Recorder, Carolyn Crnich, and the Humboldt County Election Advisory Committee members for our "commitment and action to protect the constitutional rights and civil liberties of the people of Humboldt County in accordance with the Bill of Rights".
At the start of the award ceremony, my son, Sky Pinto (age 6), was also presented with a certificate recognizing him for his good citizenship in accompanying me to meetings.
